The Study School Nursery and Pre-School

Our commitment is to challenge and inspire children to achieve their personal best.

In our Nursery we pride ourselves in creating space that ensures each child is empowered to flourish in an environment that is stimulating but, just as importantly, nurturing, and safe.

Following the Early Years guidelines, children are introduced to an exciting and adaptable curriculum. Whether in Wrens (2 yrs) Sparrows (rising 3’s) or Owls (pre-school), children are given the opportunity to access this curriculum through a good balance of adult-led targeted activities, together with child-led learning/play. We understand that every child is unique. So, with that in mind, children are given the freedom to make their own decisions. They are encouraged to explore and develop their own current or new interests, and they are allowed the freedom and time to do so at their own pace.

We aim to ensure that every parent is confident in the knowledge their child is happy and is thriving in our care. This is achieved through regular communication via our Famly app and parent/teacher consultations, but also by forging strong partnerships with all our families. This ensures that we are better able to understand and support each child to meet his or her individual needs. It also allows parents and carers play an important part in their child’s learning journey and to share our excitement as they develop and learn new skills.
